Ian Cross is a Professor in the Marketing Department at Bentley University and the Director of the institution’s Center for Marketing Technology (“CMT”). He oversaw the launch of the CMT in 2007, long before “marketing” and “technology” became closely associated.

Ian joined Bentley following a 20-year career in the private sector, having held senior marketing positions at Eastman Kodak, IBM, Wang, Thomson Reuters and several technology and marketing start-ups. His research interests lie at the intersection of marketing, communications, and technology, and the CMT is involved with more than 250 focus groups and surveys each year.
